We spent the first week of term  creating poppies to put on a cross for ANZAC Day. Most of us attended the ANZAC service. The whole class had learnt a song to sing at the service with others from the school.   The gun fire was amazing and so loud. After the service some of us went over to have a closer look. Some of us took the time to show more respect.

We have been reading stories and articles that teach us more about why it is important to remember our soldiers on ANZAC Day. We have had lots of good discussions, and had our questions answered. We are completing some artworks and photos will be uploaded when they are complete.

This week we got to try Feijoas that had been sent from the North Island.

They were a little sour but really yummy.

We can't wait for the next supply!
