Today we did a practice run for the upcoming Rural Schools' Cross Country race.

Debbie from Ecan has visited the class and we went to Kelcey's Bush in Waimate. We also had a rippa rugby session with Tristram from SCRFU. We have worked hard in class with all our other work.

This term we have been learning about imported species that are a threat to our native species. We have had Debbie from ECan helping us. We are off to Kelcey's Bush next week as part of our topic.
We created art works that were inspired by the amazing colours that can be seen early in the morning as the sun rises. We added native birds and hid pests.
